A fun day deconstructing traditional hats and reusing materials to construct contemporary designs.

You will use straw, felt, Petersham, wire and trimmings to create modern structural designs.

You will learn the skills of blocking, manipulating and wiring/stiffening materials and use your creative skills and imagination to make yourself a fabulous headpiece to wear!

MEET YOUR TUTOR

With almost thirty years of millinery experience in design, construction and teaching, Lisa has a relaxed and (often humorous) approach to finding the right compliment to your style and outfit, skills which translate into her teaching style.

A good hat, like a good outfit, should bring confidence and joy.  I like to work on individual styles in an elegant and understated way to match your ideas and my experience. Sometimes less is more.
