Jilly Edwards – Woven Tapestries: Follow the Thread
10th August - 12th October
Jilly is an incredibly accomplished weaver who has exhibited her work internationally across Europe, Japan and Australia across her 50+ year career.
Her style has been described as like “painting with wool” and while abstract plays with both colour and subtle texture.
She draws inspiration from her travels and both sketches and collects ephemera to take back to her studio.

In its heyday, Cirencester Brewery’s three massive chimneys dominated the Cirencester skyline. The brewery complex included assembly rooms and a galleried inn. So where did it all go, and what would it have been like?
New Brewery Arts occupies some of the former brewery site: join their CEO Beth Alden and Cotswold Lakes Brew Co’s Nick Hunt to explore Cirencester’s brewing past and present, along with a glass of a local beer to sign off the inaugural Cirencester History Festival in style.
