Giving moments of joy, connection,
community and creativity

Imagine this: hundreds of people in need in our community getting free access to creativity, finding warmth, making friends and boosting their wellbeing - we call this New Brewery Hearts.

We are giving 1200 free hours on our creative classes to those who need it the most. Working in partnership with local front-line charities, we can give moments of joy, connection, community and creativity. Our classes can bring our students a myriad of physical and mental-health benefits; reduced social isolation and anxiety, a sense of fulfilment, achievement and increased confidence.

Every £10 donated enables an hour on a course or workshop for someone who really needs the creativity, fulfilment and wellbeing it brings.

New Brewery Hearts participants come from the community and are referred to us by our key front-line community partners who work with vulnerable and disadvantaged people. Our partners include Cirencester Foodbank, The Churn Project and Cirencester Housing for Young People (CHYP).

We’ve teamed up with the Charity Aid Foundation (CAF) to process your donations to New Brewery Hearts

WHAT OUR BURSARY STUDENTS SAY

Joining the course at New Brewery Arts was a turning point for me. I live a very isolated life in a quiet village with my parents. I am neuro diverse and suffer with dark depression . Life was empty and I had no hobbies or routine. I would lie in bed all day long and have no purpose to get up.

I was able to get a bursary which was amazing, as being on benefits means I don’t have a lot of money to spend on myself. I look forward to my weekly sessions. I have made a friend.

As a disabled person on benefits, I could never have afforded this experience, it’s made me feel worthy of something special. It’s made me feel someone believes in me.
I am passionate about ceramics – it fits in around my responsibilities as a single parent and my chronic health condition (ME). Pottery is the one bit of ‘me time’ I have every week and it keeps me sane. It challenges me and gives me a sense of achievement.

WHAT'S ON

New Brewery Arts is the place to come and explore the best of British craft and creativity. We have over 100 weekly courses and short workshops on offer each term and regularly changing exhibitions.
