On this 2 day workshop you will be guided through the 'Rebel Ragan' sweatshirt pattern from Wardrobe by Me. This is a unisex classic style sweatshirt with raglan sleeves, rib cuffs and hem band.

On day one, you will begin by taking your measurements and select the correct size and fit you desire. You can select a crew neckline style or one with a hood and a front kangaroo pocket. You will then learn how to lay and cut the pattern pieces on your knitted fabric. Once your pieces are cut out, you will start constructing your sweatshirt. You will be guided along with step-by-step instructions and 1:1 help.

On day two, you will continue constructing your sweatshirt adding the hood (where applicable) and the ribs and cuffs, neck and hem bands.

You will be making your sweatshirt from a heavy French terry or sweatshirt material that is brushed or un-brushed; these are knitted fabrics that have a natural stretch. You will then have a complimentary or contrast colour rib fabric for the cuffs and hem bands. You will need to purchase the fabric and rib, please see information on quantities in the what you will need section below.

You will leave this workshop with the skills to lay and cut a pattern, know how to sew with knitted fabrics and attach rib fabrics to cuffs and hems. You will leave with a finished sweatshirt, walking out the door wearing it!
