Follow the story of one of our New Brewery Hearts students and discover how the scheme is helping those in our community through craft.
ABOUT THE exhibition
Our New Brewery Hearts bursaries are available for those who believe they would greatly benefit from having access to craft and creativity in their lives but are prevented from doing so due to personal circumstances.
This exhibition gives an insight into the work New Brewery Hearts does for our community through the personal story of one of our stonecarving course participants.
There are various reasons why individuals might feel that taking part in our classes would improve your health and wellbeing. They may need mental health or wellbeing support; they may be socially isolated; chronic illness; having financial constraints; the need to develop an income or skill.
New Brewery Hearts participants come from the community and are referred to us by our key front-line community partners who work with vulnerable and disadvantaged people. Our partners include Cirencester Foodbank, The Churn Project and Cirencester Housing for Young People (CHYP).
Every £10 donated enables an hour on a course or workshop for someone who really needs the creativity, fulfilment and wellbeing it brings.
Come along and celebrate the community benefits of craft.
about new brewery hearts
Imagine this: hundreds of people in need in our community getting free access to creativity, finding warmth, making friends and boosting their wellbeing - we call this New Brewery Hearts.
We are giving free places on our creative classes to those who need it the most. Working in partnership with local front-line charities, we can give moments of joy, connection, community and creativity. Our classes can bring our students a myriad of physical and mental-health benefits; reduced social isolation and anxiety, a sense of fulfilment, achievement and increased confidence.
Every £10 donated enables an hour on a course or workshop for someone who really needs the creativity, fulfilment and wellbeing it brings.
