Come and learn the mindful craft of macramé with our experienced tutor Gilly Riddington and make a plant hanger

In this beginners workshop you will be guided through some of the most popular macrame knots. You will be working with soft, unbleached cotton macrame rope and will leave with an impressive finished hanger to display a houseplant.

Meet your tutor

Gilly has a background in graphic design and has always enjoyed playing around with different creative media. She learnt the skill of Macrame at Glastonbury Music Festival, eight years ago, and was instantly hooked. She describes the techniques as “addictive” and has been working with it ever since.

Gilly has had the privilege of creating wedding backdrops for some beautiful bohemian style weddings.

• You are welcome to bring a lidded bottle of water with you but we kindly ask that you do not bring food into the studio.
