Daniella's love of stained glass began in 1988 whilst working as an apprentice, where she learned a wide range of glass techniques, gradually progressing to design studio manager before opening her own studio in Cirencester in 1995.
Working mainly to commission, Daniella produces a variety of panels in traditional and contemporary designs, for private houses and public buildings.
Daniella also undertakes restoration work on tired or damaged antique stained glass panels, meticulously and sympathetically restoring them to their former glory.
When there is time between commissions, she likes to immerse herself in creating her own pieces, a world of British wildlife, female forms, and minute detail.
Gradually she builds images and characters over many days, weeks or months, slowly layering paint and enamels by hand, firing in between, acid etching and sandblasting.
Daniella is always happy to discuss projects large or small. Daniella produces bespoke giftware including commemorative pieces, memory panels, and silhouette story lanterns.
