Inspired by the natural world, this workshop invites participants to explore the realms of abstraction and figuration through looser painting styles. Emphasising the use of colour, texture, and mark making, attendees will discover how to create more expressive art pieces that reflect the beauty and complexity of their surroundings.

While predominantly focused on working with oils, the workshop will also thoughtfully incorporate a variety of other artistic mediums, such as collage, charcoal, and acrylics, to further enrich and enhance the creative process. We will have discussions about the significance of utilising sketchbooks in your artistic practice and will closely examine the captivating works of various artists, which will help foster a deeper understanding of the intricate interplay between abstraction and nature in our own unique artistic journeys.
