New to knitting.. finger knitting? Not a problem! Your tutor Lucy will be there to teach you new techniques step-by-step as well as offer on-hand help, whenever you need it. You can choose which wonderful colour you'd like your cushion to be and get ready to make something personalised and unique to you.
At the end of this beginner-friendly knitting class, you'll walk away with a gorgeous chunky round cushion. Give yourself a creative break or bring a friend and give it a try together!

You are welcome to bring a lidded bottle of water with you but we kindly ask that you do not bring food into the studio.

meet your tutor
Lucy Wicket is a knitter, with love for all things knitted and woolly! Her background is in Fashion and Textiles design, obtaining a 1st Class honours degree in the subject; specialising in both hand and machine knitwear. Lucy went onto freelancing in swatch design, pattern writing and many other creative roles.
Knitted by LW was created back in 2018 whilst Lucy was on maternity leave with her son Archie. It all started with her signature chunky heart wreaths, Lucy continued to develop her ideas. She started off making blankets using a pair of chunky metre long wooden knitting needles, then came across the art of Arm knitting.
Lucy then decided to venture on with this idea and started her arm knitting workshops. Fast forward 5 years later Knitted by LW workshops are more successful and are constantly growing and becoming ever more popular.
