Will Shakspeare is one of the country's best-known glass blowers and has been working for over 25 years. Today Will works with one glass assistant, Johnny "oc" Allen.

Will's work is instantly recognisable. His designs are always influenced by reality, Will translates what is around him into his work. His ‘nougat’ range comes from his love of pebbles – he says he is ‘an inveterate pebble collector with a particular liking for ones which are nice and stripy’. One year on holiday in Crete he came across a beach that just had the most amazing spotty pebbles. It is not such a big leap of faith to get to the nougat range. Always using a random selection of colours, every piece in the Nougat range is completely unique and the one you see is the one you will get.
