£30.00

Lidded rope pots stitched together with soft unbleached cotton rope and beautiful organic cotton thread. These cute pots are perfect storage for treasures on table tops or bedside tables.

Dimensions:

With lid on - 11cm high & 16 cm wide

With lid off - 10cm high & 17cm wide

Pot base is 10cm wide

Please note to get the best fit each of the lids is made to fit each individual pot so there may be a small variation in size.

Handmade to last with unbleached cotton rope & 100% organic cotton thread. Each one is handmade using a freeform sewing technique. Please allow for a small variation in dimensions as each is individually created.

Best care is to spot wash with warm water and dry in the sun or near a radiator. Cotton soaks up stains but also releases them very easily. Stubborn stains can be removed with a little baking soda paste and warm water. Hot water will shrink the cotton.

Ruby Cubes is a Dartmoor based textile studio, founded on the ideas of experimentation and exploration. Full time artist Jessica Geach founded Ruby Cubes as a way to fully explore her lifelong passion for textiles through objects that are both tactile and purposeful. We're not the only ones to have spotted her work, earlier this year Jessica was at Liberty in London curated by the Crafts Council.

Each piece is handmade using a freeform sewing technique, where cotton rope is sewn together to create unique dishes, pots and baskets. We have individual pieces as well as nests of three - so you can curate them together or scatter them around your house. These are perfect for coffee and bedside tables.

A note about materials: The rope is an unbleached cotton rope. This is the best possible material as an organic fairtrade version does not currently exist in the UK. Unbleached means the cotton has not been through bleach vats, which are terrible for both the environment and the people who work in the cotton industry. In 2021 Jessica took this up a notch and now works with a fully organic cotton thread alongside the unbleached cotton rope.
