Tall Vessel
Every piece from the main collection is created in Natalie's studio in Mansfield Woodhouse, in the East Midlands. Using stained porcelain slip, each piece is carefully made by hand making them all unique; due to the handmade nature of the items they may reveal small imperfections which are all part of their handmade character.
All vessels are meticulously sanded with superfine sandpaper to make them not only incredible to look at but also incredibly smooth to the touch.

Natalie creates colourful contemporary ceramics, primarily by means of slipcasting, a technique usually associated with mass production which consists of mould making and casting. Natalie’s handmade moulds are filled with stained porcelain slip which she makes in house. Once cast and dried, the vessels are then single-fired in her kiln to 1260°c.
Slipcasting gives Natalie the opportunity to create repetition which is a key theme within her practice. She has a passion for colour within interiors and works with an ever-expanding spectrum, which she believes brings people joy.
